The reporter learned that the leading group of the China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone has been established, and held the first meeting on the morning of February 21.

The leading group is headed by Governor Chen Runer, with Weng Jieming, Member of the CPC Standing Committee and Executive Vice Governor, and Shu Qing, Vice governor of Henan Province as vice leader of the leading group, and Zhao Jiancai, Vice director of provincial people’s congress serves as the counselor of the leading group.

An office has been set up at the Department of Commerce of the province under the leading group to undertake the daily work of the group, with Jiao Jinmiao, Director of the Department of Commerce of the Province, as director of the office.

It was reported that no similar leading groups will be set up in three districts of Zhengzhou, Kaifeng and Luoyang under the administration of the China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone; instead, the district management committees will be established under the leadership of the leaders of the leading group of the province and the municipalities directly administered by the province, and will be entitled to the provincial economic management limits of authority.
