Zhengzhou is China’s famous historical and cultural city, one of China’s eight ancient capitals and member of the World Historical City Alliance. In history, it was the capital during the five dynasties of Xia, Shang, Guan, Zheng, and Han, and a prefecture during the eight dynasties of Sui, Tang, Five Dynasties, Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing. The Pei Ligang cultural relic 8000 years ago and Dahecun cultural relic were famous relics of ancient human activities; 5000 years ago, the ancestor of Chinese people Yellow Emperor was born and founded a capital here; 3600 years ago, China’s second slavery dynasty Shang founded a capital here and 7 km of the Shang - era capital city wall still remains in Downtown Zhengzhou.
