Application Condition
Application Materials Taiwan resident applying for Mainland Travel Permit shall receive the related inquiry of the accepting organ and shall submit the following documents: 1. Fill in the Application Form for Mainland Travel Permit of Taiwan Resident; 2. Submit photos complying with Photo Guideline for Entry-Exit Certificate Photo-taking; 3. Submit and verify the effective Taiwanese identification card and the entry-exit certificate. Person(s) without identification card(s) shall present and verify the household certificate transcript or the household register of the holder. Present and verify the original certificates and leave the printed copies or electronic scanned copies of the identification card or the household certificate transcript or the household register. Person, with parents are Taiwanese citizens but born in the mainland and has the admission permit of Taiwan, shall present and verify the MTP of the parents and the birth certificate of the applicant. Documents required for renewal application Taiwan resident, being involved in one of the following situations, can apply for renewing a Mainland Travel Permit: 1. The five-year MTP has a valid period less than 6 months; 2. The holder of single-entry MTP applies for renew a five-year-period MTP; 3. The holder of book MTP applies for renew a electronic MTP; 4. Identification information of the applicant is changed; 5. Other cases need to renew a MTP. Taiwan resident applying for renewing MTP shall fill in the Application Form for Mainland Travel Permit of Taiwan Resident, and submit the photo complying with Photo Guideline of Entry-Exit Certificate Photo-taking, and present and verify the original MTP and leave the photocopy thereof. Documents required for reissuing application: Taiwan resident with a MTP be damaged, lost or stolen or robbed or other case and requesting reissuing a MTP, can apply for the reissuing. And they shall submit the application documents in accordance with the aforesaid Clause 2 of this Guideline, and the personal written description.
Transaction Procdure 1. The applicant shall take photo on site for making the certificate;
2. The applicant fills out application form and submits required application documents;
3. The window working staff reviews the application documents;
4. For application documents in compliance with relevant stipulations, a notice of acceptance will be printed and delivered to the applicant. For application documents not in compliance with relevant stipulations or not complete, the staff shall tell the applicant in writing or orally;
5. Applicant pays relevant fees;
6. Applicant collects the certificate according to the arranged date for collection.
